With respect to the congress, one of the most impressing presentations was the one given by Paul V. Holland of the Uni- versity of California. He reported about the “Top 10 Publications Impacting Clinical Practice of Transfusion Medicine in the Last 10 Years.” However, all 10 publications were published from North-American groups, which rises the question:
