I am sailing...

Rod Stewart sang the song: “I am sailing”. Who would not be reminded of this classic being invited to cruise Greece on a 44 ft (13 m) yacht.

During 1 week, skippers (captains) Walter and Gert decided to transfer Bavaria 44 “Ovation” from the Island of Samos in the Aegean Sea to the Island of Corfu in the Adriatic Sea via the channel of Corinth. Veit and me were the service personnel aboard, responsible for dish washing and cooking, respectively. After 1 week I had to leave the sailors, who continued further up through the Adriatic sea to the Island of Krk in Croatia.

What else to say? Sailing is archaic and impressive – will certainly do it again !
